Meet Dr. Naz

Dr. Nazli (Naz) Offringa, PhD, is an academic consultant, university faculty member, researcher, and journalist with over 10 years of experience in elite admissions strategy. Since 2015, she has helped hundreds of students navigate the competitive landscape of higher education, first as the co-founder of Senyuva Prep, and now as the head of her own boutique consulting firm.

Dr. Naz holds a B.A. in Economics and Global Health from Princeton University, an M.A. in Journalism from Columbia University, and a PhD in Communication from USC Annenberg. Beyond consulting, she is an active member of the academic community, where she teaches upper-level undergraduate courses, authors textbook chapters, and moderates panels for industry events. Her professional background also includes work as an Emmy-recognized researcher and a health communication expert for CNN Turkey.

At Dr. Naz Academic Consulting, the approach is intentionally boutique. Unlike larger firms, Dr. Naz works directly with every student, supported by an elite team composed entirely of Ivy League graduates. This high-level mentorship allows her to build genuine rapport with her students, often becoming a long-term mentor and friend.
